Hans said it best:
“Mike Mcgrath isn’t just a great bartender, a friend, an open ear, a good time; He’s a husband, a father, a friend. He’s also very ill right now…”
“Mike is one of those genuinely great characters that makes living in a shit town a little easier to bear. He’s listened to your nonsense for decades; he’s humored you when you’ve had too many, he’s given you a couple on the house, he’s remembered your name when he sees you out at the supermarket. He’s shown genuine interest in your terrible band. He is a patient, caring fellow. He remembers all those nights at Valentine’s that we thought would never end. He’s watched us all grow old and dumb. Same smile, same warmth, every time.”
We’re putting on a benefit show for McGrath and his family. Please come out and have a good time for a good cause.
This will be a split show between Pauly’s Hotel and The Low Beat, four bands each.
